Training Cancellation - Rugby
Rugby - Sai Kung Stadium
There are certain weather conditions that dictate whether or not we can train. Our pitch is a government facility and therefore we must abide by their rules. On occasions of heavy rain or thunderstorms, it is possible that the stadium staff may close the pitch. In these situations, we have no choice but to cancel training, which is usually at short notice.
Sunday Training
The stadium staff will not make the decision until between 07:30hrs and 07:45hrs on any Sunday. Once they do, we endeavour to send out messaging via email and through other platforms Team Managers may have set up, such as Whatsapp.
Friday Training
As soon as we are notified of a closure, we endeavour to send out messaging via email and through other platforms Team Managers may have set up, such as Whatsapp.
Rugby - King's Park
King's Park is an artificial pitch and stays open in rainy weather. The pitch is usually open during amber rain and only closes for red and black rain. In the event of training being cancelled Team Managers will contact teams through their regular messaging channels.
Training Cancellation - Netball
Pak Kong has a non slip surface and training can go ahead in light rain. In the event of heavy rain and training being cancelled, Team Mangers will message cancellation via their usual messaging platform.
