A big shout out to former SK Stingray player Alex Wood, whose rugby career is taking off. He only turned 17 this summer but is in Hong Kong’s U20s team, which won the ARC 7s in August, and also plays with the Kowloon men’s team. He played 20 minutes in the Premier pre-season games against DEA, then the full game at inside centre for the Prem As, getting his first try for Kowloon in the first half.

Alex started playing with the Stingrays in 2008 when he was seven and subsequently played through all age groups. He would like to thank the management, coaching staff and senior players at Kowloon, who have been exceptionally supportive of him and his development over the past few years.
